A few things to know before choosing your getaway.
What is a hotel takeover?
A hotel reserved for a group event, with shared activities and parties throughout the stay. Room 77 takeovers combine island time, music and theme nights. Visit the full event page for the event’s atmosphere, participation guidelines and booking terms.
How many couples attend the takeover?
The takeover hosts 150–200 people across the main hotel and overflow hotel. It’s intimate without being overwhelming, with plenty of opportunities to make new friends.
Where do the events take place?
On Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Specific venue information and travel instructions are provided to confirmed guests.
Can we come if we haven’t been before?
Yes. First-time guests and returning couples attend Room 77 events. You can join the activities that interest you and take breaks when you want. Review the full event information to decide whether it’s the right trip for you.
Are couples allowed to bring a friend? Are singles allowed?
Couples may bring a friend, subject to approval before the booking is final. Singles may be considered on a case-by-case basis but cannot book directly as a single guest. Email us before booking if you’re interested in either option.
What’s included?
Both room packages and event passes include breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night snacks, premium liquor (vodka, tequila and whiskey), and access to all event activities, parties and the lounge. Room packages include accommodation; event passes include all of the above, but not a room. Check the relevant event page for complete package details and current options.
